2009 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania Society for Contemporary Craft Over Our Heads: Sculptural Wool Hats Only 2 spaces left July 6-10, 2009 9am-4pm Felt is a fantastically challenging sculptural medium and hats -wearable or not- offer the perfect opportunity to explore this. Create permanent silhouettes, attachments and textural surfaces in tandem with color shading and nuno embellishment to build multi-dimensional felt. All skills are directly translatable to felted vessels and other 3-dimensional sculpture.
